The vocabulary in each English Treasure video is first pronounced very slowly, so you can hear every sound that goes into making the word. This helps you to practice making those sounds, to train your mouth and tongue to move in the right order, just like learning to dance. The words are then spoken faster the second time, so you can hear how the word sounds as a whole. The third time, the word is spoken at a natural speed, so you can learn to recognise it when you hear it.
Each English Treasure video presents 20 English words three times. The first time, the words are paired with the Vietnamese meaning and an image to help you connect the word with the idea that it represents. The second and third time the words are presented, they are paired only with the image. This helps you to start to think in English - choosing the right English word to match the idea you want to express, rather than translating from Vietnamese words to English words.
After each time the vocabulary words are presented, they are then used in a paragraph so you can hear what they would sound like and how they would be used in natural English, with proper intonation and rhythm. These paragraphs are spoken at different speeds, just like the vocabulary words themselves, with the last reading at a natural speed so you can practice hearing and identifying the words in a sentence spoken by a native speaker.
